Desde el 2023 he estado investigando en silencio a traves de los principios de la microeconomia una manera de medir y cuantificar la importancia del tiempo fuera del trabajo. Cuanto vale? Como se mide? Cuales serian los beneficios asociados a estas metricas para las personas? Me he adentrado en principios microeconomicos como el limite presupuestario, la elasticidad, las curvas de indiferencia, el valor actual neto, curtas logaritimicas o en la utilidad marginal. La microeconomia y sus principios teoricos me han ayudado a encontrar una manera de tratar el tiempo como un producto, un producto finito y escaso que debe ser tenido en cuenta con todo rigor porque alberga dentro de si nuestro tesoro mas querido: nuestra vida.
THE BEGINNING
Since 2023, I have been silently investigating, using the principles of microeconomics, a way to measure and quantify the importance of time when not at work. How much is it worth? How is it calculated? What would be the benefits associated with these metrics for people? I have delved into microeconomic principles such as the budget limit, elasticity, indifference curves, net present value, logarithmic curves, and marginal utility to determine the value of time. Microeconomics and its theoretical principles have helped me find a way to treat time as a commodity/good, a finite and scarce product that must be treated with utmost rigor because it houses our most cherished treasure: our lives.

La rapida asociacion mental de las personas al valor del dinero y a los numeros hacen que el ser capaz de visualizar una cifra de valor economico por hora sea como un gatillo que dispara la autoconciencia. Las empresas, organizaciones y personas llevan escuchando desde hace anos la importancia de ser valorar su propio tiempo, estos mensajes, aunque son positivos y valiosos no demuestran mucho a nivel economico, lo que si hace el EVPT.
BEYOND WORDS
The benefits are based on the idea that a picture is worth a thousand words. People's quick mental association with the value of money and numbers means that being able to visualize a figure of economic value per hour acts as a powerful tool that triggers self-awareness. Companies, organizations, and individuals have been hearing for years about the importance of being aware of the value of their own time. These messages, while positive and valuable, don't demonstrate on an economic level what EVPT does.
