Professors Dr. George Monray and Dr. Juan Morillo (IAU/ACM) research involved in the UK Government Metascience Research and Policy Group

We are happy to be invited to be part of the official UKRI SCIENCE POLICY and RESEARCH UNIT in the UK. The UK government's Metascience Unit and the University of Sussex have received our expert assessments on the novelty our selected publication. The UKRI (ESRC) has matched our work (Minimum Wage and Effects on Unemployment: The Case of Spain and Its Implications on Simpson’s Paradox and Geographical Mobility (DOI: 10.5539/ijef.v17n2p26)) as relevant to at least one publication in the UKRI project. Our responses as authors will be combined with those of other experts to create a major repository of novelty evaluations at an unprecedented scale in Europe and the UK. Findings will be presented only at the aggregate level and will help inform the development of policy on research evaluation
