Teaching Impact in Barcelona: What Student Feedback Reveals

Teaching an MBA course is a responsibility that extends beyond presenting concepts and frameworks. It means helping students connect ideas to practical decisions, ask better questions, and develop confidence in their professional judgment. In Barcelona, feedback from students on my ACM MBA course offers a meaningful measure of how well that work is being achieved: 88% said the course taught them effectively.

What the 88% Represents

This result is encouraging because it reflects students’ own assessment of their learning experience. An effective course should make complex material accessible while preserving the depth required for postgraduate study. Students need opportunities to understand key principles, examine how they apply in different contexts, and relate them to challenges they may encounter in their careers.

The response suggests that most students felt the course supported these aims. It is not simply a number to celebrate; it is an indication that the teaching approach is helping learners make progress. In an MBA classroom, students bring varied professional backgrounds and perspectives. Creating a shared learning environment where those experiences can enrich discussion is an important part of effective teaching.
